Email Delivery – practical tips for better email delivery

Email delivery is a minefield. The rules are always changing. What’s right for Hotmail, doesn’t work for Gmail. You need SPF compliance, Sender ID, DKIM, Domain Keys and DMARC. Some people say it’s best to send from a shared IP pool, some that it’s best to have your own IP. The goal posts keep moving and what you thought you knew last year has changed. SPAMMER FINED – JOHN LEWIS

In a move that sky news are saying could set precedent here in the UK , major retailer, John Lewis, has been called a SPAMMER and fined by a county court judge for sending unsolicited email contrary to the electronic communications and privacy directive of 2003. Roddy Mansfield who happens to be a producer for sky news has successfully taken direct action against John Lewis in the county court system and won.
